Obergurgl – the 'Diamond of the Alps' – has a lot to offer for winter sports enthusiasts. Skiing, snowboarding, powder snow, carving, freeriding, freestyling – at approx. 110 km of slopes in the ski area Obergurgl-Hochgurgl beginners, advanced and professionals will find their perfect piste! Due to its high altitude location (1,800 – 3,080 m) snow is almost guaranteed in Obergurgl/Hochgurgl and the skiing season starts early in November and lasts until May!

At the foot of the 'Wildspitze' (3774 m) there is the small, straightforward ski area Vent with its own ski school – ideal for the whole family and a paradise for ski touring. The high Alpine level guarantees snow as well as sun.
