The Nature Park Ötztal is there for all protected areas in Ötztal. Covering an area of around 508 square kilometres, the nature park stretches from the valleys lowest parts to alpine and high alpine glaciers. The highest point is the Wildspitze with 3,774 m. The second largest nature park in Tyrol (and the third largest in Austria) impresses with its diverse, high-alpine natural and cultural landscapes as well as the large number of protected areas - from imposing glaciers in high alpine mountain landscape to idyllic swamps, lakes and streams to extensive larch and pine tree reserves. The preservation of this valuable natural landscape is one of the main tasks of NATURE PARK ÖTZTAL.
As a partner enterprise of the nature park we believe in its ideology and philosophy. Our incredibly beautiful environment lies close to our heart, so we also want to actively contribute to its preservation.
As a nature park partner enterprise our guests can enjoy great advantages. The entire, summer hiking program in the valley (from June to October up to 19 hikes per week and 15 individual events) as well as the winter program of the nature park can be used by our guests for FREE! We are happy to give you more information about the nature park and the various events at our reception.
